Thank you for your interest in “Get Hired Remotely”. This is an online course, managed and operated by Ventureship Inc. ("GetHiredRemotely", “gethiredremotely.com”, "we", "us"). This course is designed to teach you techniques and lessons on how to increase your chances of getting a remote job ("Service").

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website gethiredremotely.com and the purchase of courses offered by Ventureship Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website and enrolling in the course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this website or enroll in the course, pay for it or in any way interact with our website.

2. Course Offerings

We currently offer a single course to offer techniques, insights and tips on how to get a remote job. You can choose to access the course through one of three packages. Each package has a fixed cost.

  • On Demand Package: Entitles you to access to pre-recorded lessons, example exercises. No live classes, community access, or certification or any other entitlement. Price for this is: $47.
  • Live Course Package: Entitles access to live classes, on-demand video access, exercise reviews, community access via Slack/Telegram, peer CV reviews, and a certificate of completion. Price: $197.
  • Complete Package: All features of the Live Course Package, plus a professional CV and LinkedIn review provided by a professional, and a 30-minute one-on-one career consultation call. Price: $397.

    • Purchase to one of these packages entitles one (1) person to access the course and the benefits listed. Benefits and entitlements are for single personal use only and are non transferable and cannot be resold.

    3. Details on Specific Offers

    If you purchase the “Live Course Package” or higher you are entitled the the following as described:

  • “community access via Slack/Telegram” - you will be granted personal, revokable access to a Slack or Telegram community where during the duration of the course and up to 15 days thereafter you’ll be able to interact with other people taking the course and the course instructor (Ricardo Sousa). No guarantee of response, or specific interaction is provided as part of your purchase.
  • “peer CV reviews” - the course instructor will promote peer-CV reviews between students/ people taking the course. These are not mandatory and no guarantee of a CV review or audit is implied or otherwise provided.

    • If you purchase the “Complete Package” you’ll also have access to the following entitlements as described:

  • “CV And LinkedIn Review” - a recruiter or the course creator and instructor, Ricardo Sousa, is to provide a single-loop review of both your CV and LinkedIn. These will include recommendations on how to improve it, what to include, how to design it. This DOES NOT include any guarantee of employment or CV acceptation. This will not include any redesign, copywriting services, rather recommendations on how to proceed and improve your CV by yourself. Reviews are provided in up to 15 (fifteen) business days and only upon your request.
  • “30 minute 1-1 career consultation” - this is a call, with a maximum duration of 30minutes with course instructor Ricardo Sousa or someone he nominates to discuss your career challenges, answer any questions or provide guidance including interview preparation. We can not guarantee specific content or specific questions can be answered or covered and this is done on a best-effort basis. Calls can be scheduled up to 30 (thirty) days after the course is finalised.

    • 4. Specific Details on Course Schedule and Enrollment

  • Enrolment Confirmation: Upon successful enrolment and payment via Stripe, you will receive confirmation within 24 hours via email. Enrolment is not confirmed up until you receive confirmation and payment is correctly processed.
  • Course Schedule: The course will be conducted live from April 2 to April 6 2024 and thereafter available on demand. Access to the course before the stated period is not available;
  • Live Session Scheduling: The specific hours for live sessions will be determined and communicated by Ventureship Inc. closer to the course start date.
  • Access Issues: Ventureship Inc. is not responsible for any difficulties encountered while accessing the course content, including technical issues on the user's end.

    • 5. Payments and Refunds

  • Payments are processed via Stripe. Prices listed include all applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change at the discretion of Ventureship Inc.
  • Money back Guarantee A 100% money-back guarantee is available up to 15 after the course ends (April 6 2024). Requests for refund must be sent by email to hello@gethiredremotely.com. - Benefiting from 1-1 Career Consultation will exclude you from any Money Back Guarantee benefit. You waive all rights for refund in the event you take the 1-1 career consultation.
  • Discounts: Discounts may be offered at our discretion. Customers are not entitled to discounts beyond those officially offered by Ventureship Inc. Discounts might be time-limited and not publicly available; This does not give you any right over a discount:

    • 6. Guarantees and Course Content

  • Content: Ventureship Inc. makes no guarantees regarding the completeness, truthfulness, or accuracy of the course content. The course is designed to provide guidance on working remotely and securing a remote job but does not guarantee job placement or success.
  • No Job Placement: The course is educational and does not constitute a job placement service. Ventureship Inc. cannot guarantee employment or job success following completion of the course.

    • 7. Intellectual Property

  • All course material, website content, and related intellectual property are owned by Ventureship Inc. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This is valid for yourself only.

    • 8. Analytics and Privacy

  • The website uses cookies and Google Analytics to improve user experience and analyze website usage. By using this website, you consent to the use of cookies and the collection of data.
  • Your data is going to be retrieved as part of your course enrolment and kept for 365 days. The data is all data you provide to us as part of enrolment or taking the course. You can request data deletion at any time via hello@gethiredremotely.com which we will comply with within 10 business days.
  • By using the Service, you consent to receiving certain electronic communications from us. You agree that any notices, agreements, disclosures, or other communications that we send to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements, including that those communications be in writing.

    • 9. User Conduct

  • You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone do so. You are responsible for all your activity in connection with the Service.

    • 10. Limitation of Liability

  • GetHiredRemotely, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
  • THE SERVICE AND ALL MATERIALS AND CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND ON AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

    • 11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, USA, except for disputes qualifying for small claims court. Arbitration may not be initiated on a class-action basis.
  • YOU AND VENTURESHIP AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

    • 12. Modifications to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after such modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
